owner. A good choice. Heating and air conditioning, telephones in the rooms, free internet service, restaurant and coffee
shop.
Hotel Colonial- conveniently located one-half block from the main Plaza, numerous complaints
of bathroom fixtures not working

Mirador Del Calvario - The specialty is Italian quisine. Located by the Temple Calvario at 449 Nueva
Espaņa, Colonia El Calvario
La Rincondada - Excellent food, well prepared, at a descent price, only one and a half blocks from the entrance to the City Hall,
open early for breakfast
The Greener - (Sandwich Shop) Fresh salads, sandwiches, Baguetes(a sliced French bread filled with your choice of
ingredients). 199 Hidalgo, 2 blocks from main Plaza.

Cheff Salads - Offers salads, baguettes, blender drinks, desserts. 242-A Hidalgo,
1 block from the main Plaza. (Webmaster's note: I have eaten here also. It is very good!)
Los Olivos - Small seafood restaurant, good food, good prices, somewhat remote
from downtown
El Meson - Near downtown, quaint, colonial type but have lost many customers due to the Rude, tall, waiter. ("After an insult in my ear, bending down, I'll
never return". C. de Lagos)
DENTIST - Highly professional dental specialist in root canals,
crowns and Implants. Implant instructor in the dental university. The best in the city. He has done
extensive work with my wife and I.

Farmacia Guadalajara - 2 near downtown, one of them is only a block and a
half from the Lagos Inn.
Farmacia Similar - chiefly generic medicines at discount prices. There are several
around the city.
Farmacia Milenio - virtually the same as the Farmacia Similar. There are
also several around town.
